IFAT: AUMA is getting ready to satisfy future demands

Muellheim, 08 September 2010

The new SA multi-turn actuators of generation .2 are the centre of interest of the AUMA presentation at the IFAT exhibition.
The new development was performed using the known and proven construction design of their predecessors.

Easier handling, higher output speeds and precision in modulating duty as well as improved corrosion protection are the new features of generation .2.

The actuators can now make use of comprehensive self-monitoring functions when combined with the new actuator controls AC .2. Now, they can be integrated in asset management systems which gain increasing importance.

AUMA controls AC .2 are available with a Profibus DP V2 interface. AUMA shows clear options how to integrate actuators into fieldbus structures.  Learn more about Generation .2

AUMA has also identified the trend for larger pipelines and valves. At the IFAT, AUMA will therefore show the actuator/gearbox combination of the SA/GS series allowing torques up to 675,000 Nm.

These torques are also required in steel constructions for water systems. At the AUMA exhibition booth, special emphasis is put on this industrial application.
